About Nature Expeditions Africa
Est. 1994. Still driven by the same passion for the places we call home.
A destination management company running tailor-made safaris and tours across East and Southern Africa — same owners, same fleet, same guides as the day we started.

Where we started, where we are, and where we’re going
Two founders, one mission
Nature Expeditions Africa was founded in 1994 by Adam Abdi Jillo and Jane W. Adam, as an owner-managed destination management company. From the start, the goal was not volume — it was building genuinely personal, well-researched safaris rooted in real knowledge of the parks, the culture, and the people.
30+ years, still owner-run
Today, that same company runs tailor-made safaris and tours across East and Southern Africa, with our own fleet of 4×4 Land Cruisers, minivans, and 27-seater Rosas for groups, a team of Utalii College-trained driver-guides, and an office team that responds within the hour. Every safari includes Flying Doctors evacuation cover, and we are recognized by KTF, KATO, TOSK, ATTA, EAWLS, Eco Tourism Kenya, KWS, and APTA.
Growing the way we started — carefully
Kenya’s tourism industry is moving toward community-owned conservancies, regenerative practices, and a more direct link between tourism revenue and the land and communities it touches. That is the direction we are building toward as we grow — we will be writing more on this soon.
